Welcome to Seacoast Pop Up Shop
I'm not a fashionista...
I just like clothes. More precisely, I like finding something right away that makes me feel comfy, but also "me". I knew I wasn't alone in this, that there were other women out there who felt the same.
You just want to wear what you feel good in.
For you, that could be a flowy dress....or a flannel lumberjack top. A floral, feminine peasant top.... or a graphic tee. Wearing clothing that reflects your personality leads to feeling authentic to yourself....and feeling authentic is a key component of confidence.
Styles come and go, but it's what you feel like wearing at any given moment that's important. And finding that something special? That's where I come in. This inspired me to create my own shop, where I could curate a selection of this kind of apparel. We don't all fit into neat little boxes.
Helping women find styles that are effortless to choose and enjoyable to wear is my goal.
It's what continues to drive me each day. Allow me to assist you in that journey.
About the Shop
Seacoast Pop Up Shop was born out of other clothing sales ventures--first, thrift shop finds that I would spiff up and re-sell, then, a direct sales clothing brand. I went mobile in 2017 when I bought a 1986 RV that my husband and I completely overhauled and turned into a traveling store!
In 2018, I began the process of re-vamping my business, bit by bit--moving away from the other clothing brand and curating my own. I connected with amazing wholesale clothiers for my main inventory, and started the process of handcrafting some accessories. I sold all of this in my new bus "BOOTEEK", which I purchased & turned into a shop (again, with the help of my amazing husband). I hosted local shopping events on my property, traveled to nearby office buildings for lunch pop up parties, and traveled to festivals.
Then came 2020, and with it, COVID. In person events were not an option any longer. I continued the business through social media, and then went fully online through this e-commerce site you are viewing now.
Whether you're on the East Coast (that's where I am!) or in California, YOUR business is important to me. If you do happen to be in the Dover area, please contact me for a shopping visit! I also offer my own sketched/painted designs printed on clothing, handsewn items, and rustic jewelry under my label Mallard Cove NH. It's exhilarating to satisfy that artistic need while being able to share my art with the world!
My background: originally an Art major, I graduated with a BA in Psychology and did volunteer work through Americorps National Service after college. As a native New Englander, I love being out in nature, reading, and spending time with my family. I homeschool our younger son, and we incorporate nature and a passion for the environment into our daily lessons. Animals and birds (both the wild ones and my pets!) are also very important to me, but my husband and kids are what keeps my heart beating.
Thanks for being here!
